Published on

EODM (Eagles of Death Metal) have unveiled this new video for ‘Complexity.’ The hilarious clip is directed by Liam Lynch (Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Tenacious D, No Doubt).

The song is the lead track on the band’s fourth album ‘Zipper Down,’ which comes out worldwide via T-Boy/Universal Music on October 2. After dates in Europe, the band (who feature Jesse Hughes and Queens Of The Stone Age’s Joshua Homme) are now on the North American leg of their tour, continuing tonight (27) in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

EODM logoAfter the completion of those dates on October 26, EODM return to Europe, with a ten-date run in the UK and Ireland, followed by European shows all the way until December 10.

‘Zipper Down,’ which Homme produced, was recorded at Pink Duck Studios in Burbank, California. Apart from a cover of Duran Duran’s ‘Save A Prayer.’ Hughes and Homme co-wriote all the songs, also playing all instruments and providing all the vocals.

Best friends Hughes and Homme, from Palm Desert, California formed EODM in 1998 and landed on the name when Homme found him wondering what a cross between the Eagles and a death metal band would sound like. Their first album ‘Peace, Love, Death, Metal’ was released in 2004, followed by 2006’s ‘Death By Sexy’ and ‘Heart On’ in 2008.
