Bryan Adams is back on album and on the road next month. This is the cover of the record and yes, that’s who the fresh-faced fellow is, pictured in 1975, just before he turned 16. We know, because Adams has chosen the image for the sleeve of the new set ‘Tracks Of My Years,’ out next month and to be accompanied by an intimate, acoustic UK tour.
The album will be out on September 15, a week after Adams begins another leg of his ‘Bare Bones’ tour, which previously led to the release of a live acoustic album of that name in 2010. The new itinerary features five British shows, as listed below. Tickets go on sale on Friday (August 8) at 9am.
Adams’ worldwide career sales are now placed at 65 million, and he’s reached No. 1 status in more than 40 countries. As well as being a rock figurehead, he is, of course, an established and highly successful photographer — which he has underlined again by taking the cover shot and other images for his friend Diana Krall, as reported by uDiscover here.
The new ‘Bare Bones’ dates:
Mon Sep 8: Plymouth Pavilions
Tue Sep 9: Bristol Colston Hall
Wed Sep 10: Brighton Centre
Fri Sep 12: Southend Cliffs Pavilion
Sat Sep 13: Bournemouth BIC
