Bridgerton Season Two (Covers from the Netflix Series) features orchestral arrangements of songs from iconic artists of the past three decades. Vitamin String Quartet, one of the most popular contemporary string ensembles in the world, return with their interpretations of Nirvana’s ‘Stay Away’ and Robyn’s ‘Dancing on My Own’. Emmy-nominated Kris Bowers reimagines Madonna’s ‘Material Girl’ and ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’, a Jatin-Lalit/Lata Mangeshkar song from the eponymous 2001 Bollywood film. Duomo reinterprets Alanis Morissette’s ‘You Oughta Know’ and P!nk’s ‘What About Us’. Bridgerton Season Two (Covers from the Netflix Series) also includes new arrangements of Rihanna’s ‘Diamonds’ by Hannah V & Joe Rodwell, Harry Styles’ ‘Sign Of The Times’ by Steve Horner, Calvin Harris and Disciples’ ‘How Deep is Your Love’ by Kiris Houston and Miley Cyrus’ ‘Wrecking Ball’ by Midnite String Quartet.

Bridgerton Season Two (Soundtrack from the Netflix Series)

Bridgerton Season Two (Soundtrack from the Netflix Series) features Kris Bowers’ score who previously worked with Shondaland on For the People. Bowers told Entertainment Tonight, “Once I read the scripts, I really just fell in love with the story and got even more excited about how we might reference that musically.”

The music from Bridgerton Season Two infuses the period drama with a modern sensibility. After the series’ 2020 debut, Oprah Daily declared, “one of the main contributors to the magic that is Netflix’s Bridgerton is the music.” Entertainment Weekly noted, “Bridgerton promised us it wouldn’t be our grandmother’s period piece. And that extends to its score …[which is] bursting with lush string quartet covers of pop songs.”

Bridgerton Season Two follows Lord Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) as he sets out to find a suitable wife. When he begins to court Edwina Sharma (Charithra Chandran) her headstrong sister Kate (Simone Ashley), who suffers no fools – Lord Anthony Bridgerton very much included, does everything she can to stop him when she finds out he is not looking for a love match …but their arguments only bring them closer together. There is the potential for a considerable scandal indeed.
