The news comes after the young pop star teased last week that she was releasing new music. In an Instagram story shared on 6 November, she told her fans that a new Vanity Fair piece about her wouldn’t be out for a few weeks, but as a “compromise” she’d be releasing a new song next week.

Taking to Twitter on 10 November, the ‘bad guy’ singer shared the name of the new single and that fans can expect it on Wednesday, 13 November, at 4pm Pacific Time. Titled ‘Everything I Wanted’, the new song comes after Eilish released her widely-acclaimed debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Billie Eilish has been writing new songs, her brother and song-writing partner Finneas revealed in an interview last month.

“We’re deep into the creative process on new material for sure,” he told Zane Lowe. “She’s in a really good place.”

“We’re just excited to play a year on this album that really services this record,” he said. “Also I think the benefit is that because I have found real success in creating while on the road, it doesn’t scare me as much the way that I think it used to. When we were touring really small scale, your day is so like intense and focused on putting on the show because you’re doing everything yourself.”

He added: “I think now that we have such a wonderful expanded team, it allows me to basically wake up in the morning and I have a studio road case in my dressing room and I roll in there and I work for six hours. And there’s not even the distractions of home to stop me from working.”

Billie Eilish will embark on a sold-out North American tour in March 2020, and will tour South America before heading to the UK in the summer. She was also recently announced as one of the headliners of  the Mad Cool Festival 2020.
