Jonas Brothers, Bonnie Raitt And More Added To Grammy Awards Line-Up

The Jonas Brothers, Bonnie Raitt and Camila Cabello are among the latest performers to be confirmed for the 62nd annual Grammy Awards. The ceremony takes place on 26 January at Staples Centre, hosted by R&B superstar Alicia Keys, and will be broadcast live in HDTV and 5.1 surround sound on CBS at 8:00 pm ET/5:00pm PT.
Ten-time Grammy-winner Raitt is sure to provide one of the highlights of the evening when she performs a tribute to John Prine, who is one of this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award recipients. The others are Chicago, Roberta Flack, Isaac Hayes, Iggy Pop, Public Enemy and Sister Rosetta Tharpe. One of Raitt’s signature songs, and an enduring favourite since the early days of her career, is her version of Prine’s classic ‘Angel From Montgomery,’ featured on her 1974 album Streetlights.
Other newly-announced performers at the Grammys spectacular are H.E.R,, Rosalía, Tyler, The Creator, Charlie Wilson and Run-D.M.C, who will perform with Aerosmith. They join the previously-announced Aerosmith, Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Lizzo, Demi Lovato, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani.

The Jonas Brothers are nominated for a 2020 Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (‘Sucker’). Cabello is nominated with Shawn Mendes for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for ‘Señorita.’ Grande is shortlisted for Record Of The Year (‘7 Rings’), Album Of The Year (thank u, next), Best Pop Solo Performance (7 Rings), Best Pop/Duo Group Performance (‘Boyfriend’) and Best Pop Vocal Album (thank u, next).
H.E.R. is nominated for Record Of The Year (‘Hard Place’), Album Of The Year (I Used To Know Her), Song Of The Year (‘Hard Place’), Best R&B Performance (‘Could’ve Been’) and Best R&B Song (‘Could’ve Been’). Rosalía has nominations for Best New Artist and Best Latin Rock, Urban Or Alternative Album (El Mal Querer). Tyler, The Creator is nominated for Best Rap Album (Igor).
