In between joking with fans, Eilish playfully confirmed, “I’m f___ing making you an album!” She teased, “I’m gonna give you a new era. I have announcements to make, I got some s__t to put out.”

The artist is currently gearing up for the release of her documentary, Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry, available February 26, 2021, on Apple TV+. She told fans that the documentary will mark “the end of an era,” and added that she planned to switch up her signature black and green hair color, following the film’s premiere.

Directed by award-winning filmmaker R.J. Cutler (The War Room, The September Issue, Nashville), Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry promises an intimate look at the singer-songwriter and her meteoric rise to global stardom.

An official trailer, released last week, shows clips of the teenager as she navigates life on the road, on stage, and at home with her family, while writing, recording, and releasing her Grammy-winning debut.

Earlier this fall, Eilish spoke to Apple Music’s Zane Lowe about her new music and explained how the quarantine changed the direction of her work with her brother and collaborator, FINNEAS.

“We would have made something, but it would have been completely different. It’s not like we’re making songs about quarantine, we’re just in a different mindset than we would be otherwise. And that’s just how everything is. It’s the butterfly effect.”

She added, “So it’s been a blessing…and a curse, but I’m really, really happy that we’ve been able to make the things that we’re making…I’m very excited and hopeful for the future.”

Since the release of When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, Eilish has dropped several new singles, including “My Future,” “Therefore I Am,” and the Grammy-nominated “Everything I Wanted.” In February, she also released “No Time to Die,” the Grammy-nominated theme to the latest James Bond film.
