Decca Presents Luciano Pavarotti Greatest Hits Collection ‘Novatana’
The release is part of Decca’s year-long celebration of Pavarotti’s 90th birthday.

Decca Records has announced the release of Novanta, the ultimate greatest hits package of Luciano Pavarotti. The 2LP set includes his most popular arias, signature songs, iconic live moments, rarities, new discoveries, and previously unreleased tracks. Novanta is part of Decca’s year-long campaign posthumously honoring the legendary opera singer’s 90th birthday in October 2025.
Novanta consists of almost 100 minutes of music across 74 tracks. Alongside opera, Italian classics, and sacred music, the collection will include a number of special recordings. Fans can look forward to duets with Tracy Chapman, Bono, Elton John, and Andrea Bocelli, as well as two previously unreleased arias from Llangollen.
The album will also feature “Adeste Fidelis” from the 1978 concert at the Notre-Dame Basilica, Montreal, available for the first time on Decca. Finally, Novanta will notably feature the first known solo recording of Luciano Pavarotti—“Che gelida manina,” recorded in 1961 at the Reggio Emilia Theatre—on LP for the first time.
In addition to the 2LP format, Novanta will also be available in CD and 4CD sets.
The release of Novanta follows Decca’s announcement of the new live album The Lost Concert: Live from Llangollen (1995), set for release on November 21st. The 1955 Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod was the site of 19-year-old Pavarotti’s first international performance, when he sang alongside his father in the Corale Rossini choir. 40 years later, he returned for a solo concert, now preserved in the live album.
The Lost Concert will be released with a 100-page book filled with essays, photographs, and archival material. The album also includes two recordings of the Corale Rossini from 1955, believed to be the earliest extant recording of Pavarotti’s voice, plus a rare interview about that pivotal performance. A film version of The Lost Concert will also be available on BluRay.
