Girls Aloud Share Live ‘Sexy! No No No’ Clip
The new footage comes from their performance of the hit at the O2 Arena in 2008.
Girls Aloud are bringing another classic clip from their vault to YouTube. The latest sees the girl group performing “Sexy! No No No,” their 2007 hit single from their album Tangled Up, during their 2008 Tangled Up Tour. The latest clip sees the group performing their top five UK hit live on the stage of the famed O2 Arena in London.

“Sexy! No No No” was released as the lead single from Tangled Up, the group’s fourth album. Tangled Up was perhaps the group’s most acclaimed release up until that point, and it marked the biggest role the members had taken in writing their own music. “[R]ecently we’ve felt more comfortable with writing bits and pieces,” Cheryl Cole told Wales Online when the album was released. The girls also worked closely with writer and producer Brian Higgins. Said Kimberly Walsh, “One by one, we go to his house-cum-studio and tell him all about what’s been happening since our last album. We talk relationships, feelings, you name it. But it’s not like an interview or anything. We know him so well that we can talk to him about anything.” “Our songs have to reflect us so that’s why we do it,” added Nicola Roberts.
Tangled Up confirmed Girls Aloud’s status as one of the most successful girl groups in British history. The album has been certified platinum in the United Kingdom and gold in Ireland. Later this month, the group will release a deluxe, 40-track version of the iconic album, featuring all the well-known tracks along with cut material, new mixes, and live performances.
The live performance of “Sexy! No No No” comes as a number of classic performances are being unearthed. Recently, the Girls Aloud YouTube channel has also seen “Fling” and “Girl Overboard” get uploads from the same 2008 gig.
