Andrea Bocelli Adds 2027 ‘Romanza’ Anniversary Tour Dates
The Italian tenor will continue the ongoing celebration of his landmark 1997 album.
Andrea Bocelli is extending his Romanza 30th Anniversary World Tour into 2027, with nine newly announced U.S. dates beginning at the top of the new year.
The additional run opens January 29 at Charlotte, North Carolina’s Spectrum Center, followed by stops in Baltimore, Atlanta, Austin, Dallas, Houston, and Orlando. Bocelli will then close out with two performances at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida, on February 12 and 13. All nine shows will be conducted by Maestro Steven Mercurio.
The public on-sale for the new dates begins today, September 18, following presales that launched earlier this week.
The newly announced shows extend a tour that is already underway in North America. Bocelli began the U.S. leg earlier this month in Seattle and Portland before continuing through California, including two sold-out performances at the Hollywood Bowl on September 15 and 16. The current run continues with dates in Phoenix and Denver before returning to the East Coast in December for performances in Boston, Buffalo, Montreal, New York, Hamilton, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia.
The tour celebrates Romanza, Bocelli’s landmark 1997 compilation that brought together material from his first two albums, 1994’s Il mare calmo della sera and 1995’s Bocelli. The curated collection, marking Bocelli’s first album released in the US and Canada, helped introduce the Italian tenor to an international audience.
It sold more than 19 million copies worldwide and includes signature recordings such as “Con te Partirò,” “Vivo Per Lei,” and “Time To Say Goodbye” with Sarah Brightman. Romanza remains the best-selling Italian-language album of all time.
The forthcoming 30th anniversary edition will be available in multiple formats, including a 2LP Gold Deluxe Edition, a two-LP black-vinyl edition, and CD. The deluxe package features a gold-colored vinyl, a signed lithograph by Bocelli, and a coffee table book featuring newly commissioned liner notes by journalist Craig McLean. Both editions also feature never-before-seen photographs from the album’s recording sessions.
The anniversary celebration has coincided with a busy period for Bocelli. He teamed up with Jennifer Hudson for “One Right Here,” an original song for the upcoming film Maserati: The Brothers, written by 17-time Oscar nominee Diane Warren. The track is due October 2, and Hudson recently joined Bocelli onstage at the Hollywood Bowl to perform it.
