Jamie T Releases New Single ‘Tallahassee,’ Adds Acoustic Shows
The track samples Leif Vollebekk and arrives ahead of Jamie T’s sixth album, due October 9.
Jamie T released “Tallahassee” on September 18, the second single from his forthcoming sixth album, Ghosts (100 Days of Morning), due October 9 via Polydor Records. He has also announced a nine-date solo acoustic run beginning October 9 in Dundee and continuing through Edinburgh, Middlesbrough, Nottingham, Norwich, Kingston, Bristol, Oxford and Southampton.

“Tallahassee” samples Canadian singer-songwriter Leif Vollebekk’s song of the same name and closes Ghosts (100 Days of Morning). Jamie T wrote the track in the early hours of June 30, 2023, the day of his sold-out headline show at Finsbury Park. Its lyrics name-check Lily Allen, The Streets, Tracey Emin, Paul Heaton and The Prodigy’s Liam Howlett while addressing self-doubt and validation. Jamie T said Vollebekk’s recording had been a constant during difficult periods in his life, adding: “The song is almost me trying and failing to give myself a pep talk in the mirror before the biggest show of my career.”
The single is accompanied by a video directed by Rob Thorogood. Following on from the visual for album opener “3310,” the clip features a Ferrari Testarossa driving along country roads at sunrise, intercut with footage of Jamie T performing in front of the car and an ice cream van. “3310,” released last month, was the first song issued from the 11-track album.
Jamie T is also due to tour the UK in December. The run opens in Birmingham on December 6, with a second Birmingham show on December 7, and includes two dates at London’s Olympia on December 11 and 12. The itinerary also takes in Newcastle, Leeds, Glasgow and Manchester before finishing in Brighton on December 20.
Ghosts (100 Days of Morning) follows Jamie T’s 2022 album The Theory of Whatever, which reached No. 1 on the UK Official Albums Chart. Earlier in 2026, he collaborated with Fred again.. on “Lights BurnDimmer,” a reworking of Jamie T’s 2023 song “Hippodrome” released around a one-off show at Alexandra Palace.
