Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Jonas Brothers Nominated For 2020 iHeartRadio Music Awards

Taylor Swift, Halsey, Lizzo, Luke Combs and Shawn Mendes are also among this year’s nominees.

Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Shawn Mendes and Lizzo have picked up multiple nominations for the 2020 iHeartRadio Music Awards, set to air live on 29 March on Fox at 8 p.m. ET.

Grande, Eilish and Lizzo are all up for Female Artist of the Year, alongside Halsey and Taylor Swift, while Mendes will compete for Male Artist of the year against Khalid, Ed Sheeran, Luke Combs and Post Malone. The Song of the Year category boasts Eilish’s ‘Bad Guy,’ Lil Nas X’s ‘Old Town Road,’ Mendes and Camila Cabello’s ‘Señorita,’ the Jonas Brothers’ ‘Sucker’ and Lizzo’s ‘Truth Hurts.’

Mendes and Cabello’s ‘Señorita’ is also up for Best Collaboration, facing off against Sam Smith and Normani’s ‘Dancing With a Stranger,’ Benny Blanco, Halsey and Khalid’s ‘Eastside,’ Sheeran and Justin Bieber’s ‘I Don’t Care’ and Post Malone and Swae Lee’s ‘Sunflower.’

Elsewhere, the Best Duo/Group of the Year category boasts Dan + Shay, Imagine Dragons, the Jonas Brothers, Maroon 5 and Panic! At the Disco, while the Best New Pop Artist category features Ava Max, Fletcher, Lewis Capaldi, Lil Nas X and Lizzo.

The 2020 iHeartRadio Awards includes a slew of genre-specific categories covering alternative, rock, country, dance, hip-hop, R&B, Latin pop/urban and regional Mexican music. Visit the event’s official website to check out a full list of the 2020 iHeartRadio Awards nominees.

Fans will have the chance to vote on several categories as well, including Best Fan Army, Best Lyrics, Best Cover Song, Best Music Video, Best Remix, the Social Star Award, Favorite Tour Photographer and the first Favourite Music Video Choreography Award. Social voting starts today, 8 January, and ends on 23 March at 8 p.m. ET, save Best Fan Army voting, which will continue through to 27 March at 9 a.m. ET.

Now in its seventh year, the iHeartRadio Music Awards is a star-studded event celebrating the most-played artists and songs on iHeartRadio stations and the iHeartRadio app throughout 2019, while also offering a preview of the upcoming hits of 2020. The show will feature live performances from the biggest artists in music, as well as surprise duets and collaborations, and award presentations in multiple categories.

Since the Awards’ inception in 2013, the show has included live performances and appearances by such superstar artists as Bon Jovi, Maroon 5, Camila Cabello, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, Big Sean, Rihanna, Sam Smith, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Blake Shelton, Pharrell, Pitbull, Justin Bieber and many others.
