Tonight at 5:00 PM PST, Black Eyed Peas will launch Budweiser’s new live-stream concert series, Budweiser Rewind. The trio will offer fans a dose of nostalgia by performing some of their best-loved hits, sharing never-before-heard stories and answering questions. Viewers can tune in to Black Eyed Peas’ YouTube channel to watch the free event.

Budweiser Rewind was inspired by the Budweiser Superfest, a music festival which ran from 1980-2010. Additional artists will be announced on the beverage company’s social channels, where fans will have the opportunity to help curate setlists and submit questions to the artists.

In an official statement, the Black Eyed Peas said, “Music is something that has always brought people together, even when they are physically apart. What better way to take in this new normal of a Saturday night than kicking back with some of your favourite Black Eyed Peas songs live in your home?” They continued, “We’ve missed our Peabodies and can’t wait to reconnect with them this weekend”.

In recent Black Eyed Peas news, the trio teamed up with Latin-trap star Ozuna and newcomer J.Rey Soul – who has been announced as a new featured artist with the group for new single, ‘Mamacita’. The new song, which samples Madonna’s ‘La Isla Bonita’, finds the trio combining house and reggaeton for a joyous sound. The trio also released a stylish, 60s-themed video directed by Julien Christian Lutz – aka Director X.

‘Mamacita’ follows single ‘Ritmo (Bad Boys for Life)’ – recorded for the Bad Boys For Life soundtrack. The track garnered more than 1 billion streams in its first six months of release.

This summer, the group was also scheduled to headline the Isle Of Wight Festival, alongside artists like You Me At Six and Razorlight. However, the event was cancelled in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
