Hubbard said the writers worked on the song while on the road and wanted to make something upbeat. “At the end of the day, I love making music that gets people excited, that they can turn up and have a good time with,” he said. “This song is all about that and I can’t wait for y’all to hear it.”
The single arrives as Hubbard continues a solo career after his success as one half of Florida Georgia Line. His self-titled debut album included “5 Foot 9,” his first solo No. 1, and “Dancin’ In The Country,” both of which earned 2x Platinum certification from the RIAA. “Back Then Right Now” and “Park” also reached No. 1, bringing his career total to 23, according to the supplied release.
Hubbard’s songwriting has also contributed to recent country radio hits. John Morgan’s “Kid Myself,” which Hubbard co-wrote, reached No. 1 on Mediabase and Country Aircheck. He also co-wrote “Ride, Ride Ride” by George Birge and Luke Bryan, which the release says is growing at radio.
Hubbard is scheduled to perform with Dan + Shay in Anaheim on Nov. 6 and Mountain View on Nov. 7. In 2027, he is set to appear at several festivals as part of Florida Georgia Line, including Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale on April 2, Stagecoach in Indio on April 24 and Carolina Country Music Fest in Myrtle Beach, June 10-13.
