Brothers Osborne Share ‘Doors’ From Upcoming ‘Watertown’ Album
The fifth studio album, named in reference to their Maryland hometown, arrives October 23 via MCA.
Brothers Osborne have released “Doors (SELLOUT EDIT),” the third preview of their fifth studio album, Watertown, which arrives October 23 via MCA. Written by John Osborne, TJ Osborne, Jesse Frasure, Lee Miller and Chris Pixton, the song uses doors as a recurring image for the transitions, choices and setbacks that mark different stages of life.

“Doors (SELLOUT EDIT)” is part of the duo’s new release strategy for Watertown. Ahead of the album, Brothers Osborne are issuing shorter alternate versions of selected songs as “SELLOUT EDITS,” while full-length versions of pre-release tracks are available free to members of their fan club, The Family, through the group’s website. John Osborne said the idea reflects how listeners encounter music in 2026. “Our hope is that these edits will drive people to the deeper story,” he said. TJ Osborne added that songs can take different forms in recordings, releases and live performances, and said the duo sees each version as valid.
The 11-track Watertown takes its name from the spirit of the brothers’ hometown of Deale, Maryland, a coastal community listed in the release with a population of 5,333. The album centers on family, love, loss and change, with John and TJ drawing on personal experiences across the record. Its tracklist includes “Born and Raised Hell,” featuring Cody Johnson; “Tough Kid,” featuring Stephen Wilson Jr.; “Family Business”; “Same Ol’ Different Story”; and the title track. John Osborne has writing credits on seven of the 11 songs, while TJ Osborne is credited on four.
Brothers Osborne are currently finishing a run of dates with Zac Brown Band before a UK tour with The Darkness later this year. Earlier in 2026, the duo marked the 10th anniversary of their debut album, Pawn Shop, while John Osborne released a signature Fender Telecaster. Over the past decade, Brothers Osborne have earned one Grammy Award, seven CMA Awards and seven ACM Awards, alongside 13 Grammy nominations.
