Hit country duo Brothers Osborne have their new single ‘I Don’t Remember Me (Before You)’ released to country radio today (8 October). John and TJ Osborne wrote the song with Shane McAnally and Matt Dragstrem, and it features on their second album Port Saint Joe, released in April to instant acclaim and a No. 2 debut on the US country chart.
The new single follows ‘Shoot Me Straight,’ which preceded the album as its lead track in January. ‘I Don’t Remember Me (Before You)’ has been described by Rolling Stone as a “stunner of a love song” and by Whiskey Riff as “musical perfection.”
The Grammy-nominated duo are nominated as CMA Vocal Duo of the Year at the upcoming 52nd annual CMA Awards, which will air in the US on the ABC network on 14 November. Brothers Osborne have won that title for the past two years. This year, they’re also nominated for Musical Event of the Year for their collaboration with Dierks Bentley on ‘Burning Man,’ featured on the latter’s current album The Mountain. The acts are currently touring together on Bentley’s Mountain High Tour.
Brothers Osborne have own next headline dates in the US and Canada during October, as part of the tour that will play six shows in the UK in November and early December. More details are at the band’s website. Their latest British visit will incorporate a debut appearance at Planet Rockstock, the sixth annual festival in south Wales hosted by rock radio station Planet Rock, who are firm supporters of the group.
This first-ever UK tour by the duo has been selling fast and moving to upgraded venues, with dates due to culminate on 2 December at the O2 Kentish Town Forum in London. They first visited the UK for the C2C Festival in 2017 and then joined Cadillac Three on their British dates later in the year.
