Black Eyed Peas’ ‘I Gotta Feeling’ Video Reaches One Billion YouTube Views
The 2009 party anthem appeared on the group’s fifth studio album, ‘The E.N.D.’
Black Eyed Peas have reached another major milestone, with the official music video for their 2009 hit “I Gotta Feeling” surpassing one billion views on YouTube.
Originally released in June 2009, “I Gotta Feeling” served as the second single from the group’s fifth studio album, The E.N.D. (The Energy Never Dies). Produced by David Guetta and will.i.am, the song became one of the defining pop hits of the late 2000s, blending the group’s hip-hop roots with the electronic dance music sound that dominated the era.

The track spent 14 consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, following the group’s previous chart-topper “Boom Boom Pow,” which had held the top spot for 12 weeks. Together, the two singles gave Black Eyed Peas an unprecedented 26 consecutive weeks at No. 1 in 2009.
Directed by Ben Mor and Mikey Mee, the “I Gotta Feeling” music video follows will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo, and Fergie as they prepare for a night out before coming together at a lively house party. The visual captures the song’s celebratory spirit, which helped make it a fixture at parties, weddings, and sporting events around the world.
The track also earned Black Eyed Peas the GRAMMY Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocals in 2010. More than 15 years after its release, “I Gotta Feeling” remains one of the group’s biggest streaming successes, having surpassed two billion plays on Spotify earlier this year.
“I Gotta Feeling” joins several other Black Eyed Peas videos that have already entered YouTube’s Billion Views Club, including “Where Is The Love?,” “RITMO (Bad Boys For Life)” featuring J Balvin, “My Humps,” and “Pump It.”
