EZ MIL Releases ‘3RD WRLD VOL. 2’ EP

EZ MIL has released 3RD WRLD VOL. 2, the latest installment in his EP series. The three-song set includes “MADARA,” a collaboration with Eminem, Tokyo rapper Hideyoshi and voice actor Neil Kaplan, alongside “TALK 2 ME” and “LET EM,” featuring drummer Luke Holland.

“MADARA” brings EZ MIL back together with Eminem, who first collaborated with the Filipino-American rapper on 2023’s “Realest.” EZ MIL later appeared on “Head Honcho,” from Eminem’s The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce). Kaplan, whose credits include the English dub voice of Naruto character Madara Uchiha, is also featured on the new track.

The EP follows 3RD WRLD VOL. 1, released in July. That three-track collection included “2200,” mixed by Dr. Dre and named for the zip code of EZ MIL’s hometown, Olongapo City. It also featured “SINDAK” (“INTIMIDATION”), which pairs Tagalog lyrics with metalcore-influenced production, and “LORD HELP ME,” described in the release as a prayer for strength.

EZ MIL’s work has drawn on both English and Tagalog. He gained wider attention with “Panalo (Trap Cariñosa),” a bilingual song that received a large audience through a live performance on the Wish USA Bus. In 2023, “Realest” marked his first release with Eminem and reached No. 3 on Billboard’s Rap Digital Song Sales and R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales charts.
