‘Highway Love’ Leads Toosii’s 13-Track ‘Platinum Heart 2’
The 13-track sequel features Hunxho and YoungBoy Never Broke Again.
Toosii has released Platinum Heart 2, a 13-track sequel to his 2020 project Platinum Heart, via South Coast Music Group and Capitol Records. The first album introduced songs including “Love Cycle” and “Truth Be Told.” The sequel returns to the personal storytelling and melodic focus associated with Toosii’s earlier work.

“Highway Love” anchors the new set, which opens with “Lil Terrio.” On that track, Toosii looks back on his beginnings and reflects on the distance he has traveled since. “Soul Ties” centers on a relationship that holds together through difficult moments. The tracklist also includes “Advils,” “Boot Up,” “I’m Hot,” “Lonely February’s,” “Finally Free,” “Know How It Go,” and “Let Me Close.”
“First Night,” featuring Hunxho, pairs the two artists on a song about attraction that retains the excitement of a first encounter. On solo tracks “Boot Up” and “I’m Hot,” Toosii shifts into a more rap-focused delivery. The album closes with “Please Don’t Go,” his collaboration with YoungBoy Never Broke Again. “Nights Prayed” and “Please Don’t Go” were among the singles released ahead of the album.
Toosii will bring the new material to the stage on his Platinum Nights Tour, a five-date run beginning November 17 at Houston’s House of Blues. He will play New Orleans’ House of Blues on November 18, Philadelphia’s Theatre of the Living Arts on November 22, and Washington, DC’s Howard Theatre on November 23. The tour concludes November 24 at Detroit’s Saint Andrew’s Hall.
