Southern rockers The Cadillac Three have announced the arrival of their new album Legacy, released by Big Machine on 25 August 2017. To celebrate the record’s release, the band have scheduled a special show hometown show at Nashville’s legendary Ryman Auditorium on 31 August and announced details of an extensive 16-date European tour for November.
Ahead of the new tour dates, The Cadillac Three is taking new tracks ‘Dang If We Didn’t’ and ‘American Slang’ to radio as official singles for the US and UK respectively. The songs preface the arrival of Legacy on 25 August. The trio collectively produced the 11-track project and collaborated with fellow songwriters Lori McKenna, Jonathan Singleton, Laura Veltz and more on the much-anticipated follow up to Bury Me In My Boots.
The Cadillac Three’s European tour has been dubbed the Long Hair Don’t Care tour and it comes on the back of several high-profile shows, with the raucous Tennessee trio having recently played the UK’s Download Festival and big supporting shows in Europe with both Linkin Park and Aerosmith during June. The Long Hair Don’t Care tour will be the TC3’s fourth major European trek and includes nine UK dates, including a highly-anticipated show at London’s O2 Kentish Town Forum on November 14.
Of the European dates, The Cadillac Three frontman Jaren Johnston said: “It’s really cool to see European crowds embrace our sound and hear our influences fuel each show. We cut our teeth on everything from the greats at The Opry to Widespread Panic because we love lyrics with depth just as much as shredding guitars, epic anthems and those for your lady. We keep coming back and they keep showing up for us… it’s a really special thing for us to sing along together with our pals across the pond!”
