The Lost Highway Records signing arrives with new single ‘Hands Tied’ and upcoming tour dates.
Emma Ogier has signed to Lost Highway Records, which will release her debut album Fly 1111 on November 11. The Houston-born singer-songwriter is also sharing a new single, “Hands Tied,” a song centered on the rush of falling in love.

Produced by David Baron, Fly 1111 explores the sacrifices involved in pursuing a creative life and the challenge of trusting one’s instincts during uncertain periods. “Hands Tied” follows “Keep You,” while the album also includes “Believing” and “Rocksteady/HeavyMetal,” a collaboration with Eden Joel. Lost Highway Records co-heads Robert Knotts and Jake Gear said Ogier’s individuality was central to the signing. “She isn’t interested in fitting neatly into a genre or following a prescribed path, which is exactly what we admire most about her,” they said.
Ogier is also set for a run of live appearances this fall. She will make her Austin City Limits Festival debut on October 3 before joining Hovvdy on the first leg of their North American tour, including an October 20 date at Sid The Cat Auditorium in Los Angeles. On November 4, she is scheduled to appear with Joshua Slone at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. In January 2027, Ogier will join Bright Eyes for their two-night stand at Brooklyn Paramount in New York City, following performances with the group during this summer’s 21st-anniversary shows for I’m Wide Awake, It’s Morning and Digital Ash in a Digital Urn.
The album announcement follows another recent collaboration: Dominic Fike released “Small Town” featuring Ogier and later brought her onstage to perform the song during his show in Bend, Oregon. Fike also shared a video filmed at the concert featuring Ogier performing “Baby Don’t Hurt Me.” Ogier began writing songs during the pandemic while living in Houston, and Fly 1111 marks her first full-length release.
