Feng has announced the forthcoming Summer At Camp Lakepine EP and released its lead single, “Fake Friends.” Produced by frequent collaborator Lakepine, the track arrives as the U.K. artist continues touring behind his February debut album, Weekend Rockstar, with the EU/U.K. leg of the Weekend Rockstar Tour set to begin September 8.

“Fake Friends” pairs synth textures, samples, bass and sharp percussion with Feng’s sing-song delivery. The song centers on friendships complicated by jealousy and changing circumstances, including the line, “They want to see you do good, but never better than them.” Its official video was shot by Issac Buitrago in Los Angeles and directed by Lakepine and Feng, who also handled the edit and creative direction. The clip follows Feng through the city by day and night, moving between traffic lights, neon signs, train tracks and a downtown rooftop where mannequins are set on fire. A nearby billboard reads, “Turn setbacks into comebacks.” The visuals alternate saturated city scenes with quieter shots of the artist walking alone at sunset.

Released in February, Weekend Rockstar is a 13-song album drawing from the U.K. underground and alternative pop. Feng wrote, recorded and mixed the project himself, and co-produced it with Bilal Hamdi. The album was preceded by “J*b” and “Cali Crazy,” while the video for “Firework” extended the record’s focus on ambition and optimism. Feng has also continued a run of festival appearances that has included Rolling Loud, Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash, Germany’s Splash!, and more.

In 2026, The FADER included Feng in its “Artists to Watch” lineup and current GEN F class, while Complex, Pigeons & Planes and Ones to Watch also placed him on emerging-artist lists. Highsnobiety featured Feng as part of its annual music week series. During Milan Fashion Week, Feng appeared around Gucci’s runway show, and Vans later named the 20-year-old artist a face of its “Off The Wall” campaign. Interview Magazine, DAZED and Pitchfork have also covered Feng’s throwback house parties.
