Greta Van Fleet Announce Intimate Nashville Residency
The three-show run at The Basement East begins October 3, ahead of the band’s new album.
Greta Van Fleet have announced an intimate three-show residency at Nashville’s The Basement East, giving fans a rare chance to see the GRAMMY Award-winning rock band in a smaller setting.
The residency begins Saturday, October 3, followed by performances on October 10 and October 17. Tickets are priced at $20 and go on sale today at 12 p.m. CDT.
The shows will feature songs from the band’s forthcoming fifth studio album, Palace For The People, which arrives October 9 via Republic Records.
Recorded in Tennessee in Spring 2026, Palace For The People was co-produced by the band and Mike Elizondo, whose credits include work with Turnstile, Eminem, and Fiona Apple. The record explores themes of humanity, connection, resilience, and transcendence.
“The function of the artist is to provide what the universe cannot. We wanted to make a record that personifies adventure, passion, brutality, beauty, sex, and imagination, so that’s what we did,” lead vocalist Josh Kiszka shared in a statement. “We played the ‘Palace of the People’ in London, and our music is a Palace for the People. When you’ve seen so much of the world, you realize there’s so much more of the world you have not seen. We’re starseekers. We’re simply taking the human experience and translating it into music.” Lead guitarist Jake Kiszka added: “As much as it is a Greta Van Fleet record and a rock and roll record at its core, in its heart, it’s a very modern record.”

The band has previewed the album with “Play Your Games,” “Saw You Stand,” and most recently “Tear It Down.” Released last week, “Tear It Down” marks the latest glimpse of the new record, with the song addressing uncertainty and rebuilding.
Greta Van Fleet have kept up a steady run of special appearances as they prepare for the album. Back in May, the band also went the intimate route for a one-night-only performance at New York City’s legendary Bowery Ballroom. In July, they played a sold-out Lollapalooza aftershow at Chicago’s Metro. This week, they also appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to perform “Saw You Stand.”
