Guns N’ Roses To Tour This Summer

Published on

The Guns N’ Roses reunion announced for the 2016 Coachella Festival will extend into a summer tour of North America.

A short clip posted on their website yesterday (25) under the title ‘Patience’ — referring to a favourite song from their second studio album G N’ R Lies of 1988 — reveals the names of the cities they will play, and the words “coming summer 2016,” but no specific dates as yet.

As previously announced, G N’ R, featuring the “iconic line-up,” as their site puts it, of Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan, will play at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on 8 and 9 April. Their guests for those shows will be Alice In Chains. The Coachella headline dates follow on 16 and 23 April in Indio, California, with shows in Mexico City in between, on 19 and 20 April.

The new announcement lists the following cities for the summer itinerary: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Kansas City, Nashville, New Orleans, New York, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Louis, Toronto and Washington, D.C.
