An additional 2,014 tickets will be released for $1 on the day of the show. Those limited “dollar and a dream” tickets will only be available for purchase in-person at a time and place that will be revealed that same day.

2014 Forest Hills Drive is the rapper and producer’s third studio album. J. Cole released the album with little notice and no pre-release singles. Nonetheless, 2014 Forest Hills Drive debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and became his third chart-topping record. The album’s title was inspired by the housing project the rapper lived in until 2003. It was nominated for Best Rap Album at the 2016 Grammy Awards while the single “Apparently” nominated for Best Rap Performance.

Special anniversary versions of 2014 Forest Hills Drive will be available for pre-order on vinyl and CD. Both versions will feature four new bonus tracks and alternative cover art.

J. Cole has been reminiscing on his life and work on “a new limited audio series” titled Inevitable. As part of the series, the rapper has re-released early mixtapes The Come Up, The Warm Up, and most recently, Friday Night Lights, which is on streaming platforms for the first time since its 2010 release. “This is a very special moment for me,” he wrote of the album. “Been waiting patiently for this day, like a lot of yall have.”

For its fifth anniversary, J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival will return in 2025, occurring at Raleigh, North Carolina’s Dorothea Dix Park on Saturday, April 5, and Sunday, April 6, 2025. The lineup has not yet been revealed. Ticket sales begin December 11.

Listen to Friday Night Lights on Apple Music and Spotify.
