OneRepublic have shared the video for their recent single Connection. The multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated band commissioned director Joel Pront to shoot the video at the Oculus in New York, while the new film also comes with choreography from Matthew Peacock.
As uDiscover Music previously reported, Connection had its premiere on Beats 1 World Record with Zane Lowe on Apple Music and is available now at all digital retailers. The song has also been featured heavily in Jeep’s annual Summer of Jeep Campaign.
Fronted by much in-demand Oklahoma-born singer/songwriter and producer Ryan Tedder, OneRepublic released their debut set Dreaming Out Loud in 2007. The album included the multi-platinum-selling smash single ‘Apologize’, which shattered digital sales and airplay records worldwide and received a Grammy Award nomination. The band’s sophomore album, 2009’s Waking Up, produced the hit singles ‘All the Right Moves’, ‘Secrets’ and ‘Good Life’.
Following the global success of the Native album, which featured the #1 and 10 million plus selling single ‘Counting Stars,’ and worldwide tour, OneRepublic released Oh My My, their fourth full-length album in 2016 on Mosley Music/Interscope Records. This spring the band released ‘Start Again ft. Logic,’ a song that is featured on the soundtrack for the second season of the Netflix drama 13 Reasons Why.
Earlier this year, the band released their acclaimed concert film OneRepublic: Live In South Africa through Eagle Rock Entertainment. Available on DVD, blu-ray and digital download, this milestone show for the band was recorded live in Johannesburg, South Africa at The Ticketpro Dome (then known as The Coca-Cola Dome), in the closing stages of their Native World Tour.
The band have recently been playing US tour dates across the summer of 2018 with the Zac Brown Band. They play the final show of their tour at the Safeco Field in Seattle, Washington, on 31 August.
