Australian hitmakers 5 Seconds Of Summer are to release a live album just before Christmas. The band announced the imminent arrival of the record, to be titled ‘LIVESOS,’ yesterday (Friday).

A tweet from the group’s Twitter account was accompanied by a statement on the 5SOS website, which said: “Playing live has been something we have been the most passionate about from the beginning. All we want is for our fans to come to the shows, rock out and have one of the best times they’ve ever experienced. Also when a room is full of you guys from all different walks of life, you can let it go when you come to the shows and be free to be yourself.”

The 15-song album looks set to be released by Capitol on December 15, and will feature ‘She Looks So Perfect,’ the international No. 1 that took the band onto the global stage earlier this year. Other tracks will include ‘Everything I Didn’t Say’ and ‘Amnesia.’ ‘LIVESOS’ has been recorded at various gigs around the world.

Meanwhile, 5 Seconds Of Summer have started work on the follow-up to their eponymous debut studio album, and have already confirmed a huge worldwide headline arena tour for next year. Dates begin on May 4 in Portugal, with the European leg running through to June 12, followed by shows in Australia and New Zealand and then a North American leg from July to September.
