Madonna has released her new song ‘Future,’ which features Migos’ Quavo. It’s the second collaboration the pair have released following ‘Champagne Rosé,’ which appeared on the rapper’s solo debut, Quavo Huncho. You can check the new track out below.

On the reggae-tinged song, the pair look to what is ahead, celebrate the present and also contemplate the past. “Not everyone can come into the future/Not everyone that’s here is gonna last” Madonna sings, in a hopeful tone about shedding any recent negativity.  Meanwhile, Quavo reflects on his current status while looking forward to what’s to come. “My life is gold,” he raps. “I drip in ice/I see the signs/Just free your mind/Welcome to the future, it’s a culture ride.”

Prior to unveiling the track, Madonna alluded to the collaboration via Twitter and Quavo took to Instagram to hint at the project as well. Madonna’s latest Madame X single follows the pop icon’s previously released ‘Crave’ featuring Rae Sremmurd’s Swae Lee, ‘I Rise’ and the Maluma-featuring ‘Medellín,’ which the duo performed at the Billboard Music Awards earlier this month.

Following Madame X‘s release on 14 June, Madonna will embark on an intimate theater tour, which launches with a series of shows beginning on 12 September at BAM Howard Gilman Opera House in New York City.

Meanwhile, according to reports in BBC News, Madonna will perform during the final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv, it has finally been confirmed. The singer will perform two songs: ‘Future’ and her 1989 hit ‘Like A Prayer.’

An announcement was made ahead of the contest’s second semi-final on Thursday, ending days of speculation over whether she would indeed appear.

Earlier this week organisers said a contract had yet to be signed and that she could not perform without one. Yet the singer was seen arriving in Israel on Tuesday and has reportedly been rehearsing at a secret location.

“We are pleased to finally confirm that the incomparable music icon Madonna will join us at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest,” said Jon Ola Sand, the event’s executive supervisor.

“We know that it will be an evening to remember and can’t wait to share it with everyone watching.”
