Accompanied by a piano, the Canadian artist performed the song in Berlin, ahead of the COVID-19 pandemic. VVAVES marks the newest artist to be captured for the video series, which showcases intimate performances in unique – and spectacular – locations. Past guests on “The Circle Sessions” have included Lewis Capaldi, YUNGBLUD, Hozier and Donna Missal.

Over the past three years, while residing primarily in Hamburg, Germany, VVAVES (born Emma Rosen) has released several solo and collaborative singles, including 2017’s ‘Fall Apart’, 2018’s ‘Alive’, and 2019’s ‘Boys Like You’, featuring Iggy Azalea. The latter track marked the artist’s first song to hit the one million streams mark on Spotify.

In January, VVAVES released her newest solo single, ‘5 Of Your Exes’, while she dropped a collaborative electro-pop track today with Jumpa – the effervescent ‘He Can’t Dance’.

Let It Be, meanwhile, has been in the news lately, thanks to the anticipated documentary film Get Back. Helmed by the Academy Award-winning director Sir Peter Jackson, Get Back is based around 55 hours of previously-unreleased studio footage, captured for Michael Lindsay-Hogg’s 1970 documentary, Let It Be, which captured The Beatles’ intimate moments in the studio while they rehearsed and recorded the songs for what would be their final album. The footage, now revisited by Jackson in a new light, is the only material of note that documents the band at work in the studio.

Currently slated for a September 2020 release via Disney, the film was made with the full cooperation of Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. John Lennon’s widow, Yoko Ono Lennon, and George Harrison’s widow, Olivia Harrison, have also offered their full support of the project.
