On her latest single “Nothing’s All The Time,” pop singer and songwriter Ashley Kutcher is embracing the good and the bad. Available now via Darkroom and Interscope Records, the record arrives alongside an official music video directed by Karo.

“‘Nothing’s All The Time’ is about when you think that a feeling is so permanent, when in reality it’s temporary,” Kutcher shared in a statement. “Nothing will be bad or good all the time, and realizing that is when you can find the beauty in both.”

In the visual, the camera lingers on Kutcher bound to her bed by the heavy thoughts she can’t seem to shake. As she takes her medication, a brighter, ready to take on the world version of herself appears on the other side of the bed. The contrast is stark, but both are established as being just as valid as the other. Whether surrounded by clothes she doesn’t have the strength to put away or by plants overflowing from their pots with beautiful greenery, Kutcher allows herself grace to occupy both spaces.

“Pull me out, pull me out, of this state of mind / Hold me down, hold me down, ‘til I realize / Nothing lasts, nothing lasts, nothing’s all the time,” Kutcher sings on the chorus. “So when it feels like I won’t, make it out alive / Just remind me of all, the storms I survived / Nothing lasts, nothing lasts, nothing’s all the time.”

“Nothing’s All The Time” follows the release of “Love You More,” a moving pop ballad about constantly being pulled from the past by the thoughts and emotions that linger from youth.

The new releases follow the arrival of Kutcher’s debut EP One Eighty, which featured the viral single “Love You From a Distance.” Speaking of the project, the singer said: ‘“One Eighty’ is a collection of songs I wrote as my life took a complete turn. It’s a project of discovering who I am as an artist. Together these songs tell my story and I could not be more excited to share it.”
