ApolloRed1 Shares ‘Africa’ Song and Video
The Atlanta rapper’s latest arrives after his June mixtape ‘Demon Heart Radio,’ which includes features from OsamaSon, Bryant Barnes, and Destroy Lonely.
ApolloRed1 has shared a new track called “Africa,” which is out now via YVL/Interscope Records. The Atlanta rapper’s latest is produced by frequent collaborator Ayelavish! (Yeat, SoFago).
The video for “Africa” shows Apollo silhouetted against a pulsing colored background. In between shots of him performing the song, women and children pose peacefully while feathers fall from the sky.
In June, the rapper dropped a mixtape titled Demon Heart Radio, which earned praise from the likes of VIBE, Complex, and HotNewHipHop. The 18-song Demon Heart Radio includes features from OsamaSon (“Geeked Up!”), Bryant Barnes (“#Demon”), Destroy Lonely (“Codeine Shower”), and HXG (“Tight Pants”). It features production by producers like Cardo Got Wings, F1LTHY, Bugz Ronin, TRGC, Clayco, OPM BABI, 1st Class, Johnny Juliano, Bakkwoods, 16yrold, and more.

Apollo is the first signee to Playboi Carti’s YVL label and his star is quickly rising. He recently stopped by Lyrical Lemonade’s Call it a Day podcast alongside OPM BABI and was included on Complex’s “26 Rappers To Watch In 2026” list. The FADER ranked him among “your next favorite rapper[s]” in their coverage of Summer Smash 2026. He also lit up Rolling Loud Orlando in May, after wrapping up his run on the arena-crashing Antagonist 2.0 Tour alongside Playboi Carti, Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, and HXG
Apollo dropped three EPs and a mixtape in 2024, with “Favorite Plug” going viral. In May 2025, he dropped Midnight Blassic, which included “Drug Love Demo 2” and was the first release on YVL. In October, he followed that up with his ApolloRed1 vs The World mixtape, which included the highlight “Profit,” plus features from Protect, Destroy Lonely, and others.
Apollo recently appeared on Ken Carson’s “9 b*tches” from his cartunez EP. Earlier this year, Apollo shared the SoundCloud-exclusive B4DEMON FM, a 10-minute stream meant to play like a radio broadcast introducing the themes heard on Demon Heart Radio.
Next, Apollo will perform at ComplexCon 2026 on October 3 at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena.
