Listen To Asha Banks’ New Single ‘Anything But’
The track was co-written with Bülow and Sammy Witte.
Asha Banks has released her new single “Anything But,” via Island Records. The track was co-written by Banks with Bülow and Sammy Witte. It centers on the point in a relationship when both people know it has ended but are reluctant to say so.

Banks said the song is about “that moment in a relationship where it’s time for the other person to speak the truth,” while also acknowledging her own part in prolonging the situation. “It’s also the acceptance of the part I’ve played in that ongoing denial,” she said. In describing the dynamic, Banks added, “Ultimately, we’re both as bad as each other in this respect.”
“Anything But” follows Banks’ recent singles “Biggest Fan” and “Come Down.” The latter was featured in the end credits of Prime Video’s Your Fault: London, in which Banks stars, and its official music video was directed by the film’s directing duo Charlotte Fassler and Dani Girdwood. Earlier this year, Banks released “Too Busy Missing You,” which appears on the soundtrack for Prime Video’s Off Campus, as well as the collaborative EP Everything Is About You with Novo Amor and Lowswimmer.
Later this month, Banks will begin the “something inbetween tour,” her first nationwide North American headline run, with Alfie Jukes as support. The dates follow her Lollapalooza appearance this summer and include sold-out shows in Philadelphia, New York, Washington, D.C., Montreal, Toronto and West Hollywood. She also recently surpassed one million monthly listeners on Spotify for the first time.
Banks previously released the 2025 EPs Untie My Tongue and How Real Was It?, with the latter followed by her first headline run across North America, the U.K. and Europe. Her recent on-screen work also includes Prime Video’s My Fault: London and Netflix’s A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder.
