Noeline Hofmann Releases ‘Wilson Silver Star 402 Blues’
The new track previews Hofmann’s full-length debut album, due for release in 2027.
Noeline Hofmann has released a new single “Wilson Silver Star 402 Blues.” The track previews the Alberta country singer-songwriter’s forthcoming full-length debut album, which is due in 2027.

Hofmann said the song is told from the perspective of a trucker hauling steers in a Wilson Silverstar 402 livestock trailer. She described it as “an existential meditation on mortality” and on the burdens people carry toward a shared fate. The recording pairs a steady beat with lightly picked acoustic guitar and slide guitar, while its road imagery includes truckstop diners, blown-out tires and the repeated refrain, “Just keep rolling.”
Hofmann is on tour with Shaboozey across North America through the rest of September. She is scheduled to perform at Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville on September 18, followed by Country Calling Festival in Ocean City, Maryland, on October 2. On October 15, she will support Charles Wesley Godwin at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, before appearing at Copper Country Music Festival in Casa Grande, Arizona, on October 17.
The 23-year-old artist, who comes from Southern Alberta, released her debut EP Purple Gas in October 2024. Its title track first reached a wider audience after Hofmann performed it on Zach Bryan’s Belting Bronco YouTube series; Bryan later recorded “Purple Gas” as a duet with her for his album The Great American Bar Scene. Hofmann made her Grand Ole Opry debut in September 2024 and was nominated for Emerging Act of the Year at the 2025 Americana Honors & Awards, where she also performed. She received a 2026 JUNO Award nomination for Breakthrough Artist or Group of the Year and has previously toured with artists including Turnpike Troubadours, Charley Crockett, and Wynonna Judd.
