Listen To AURORA’s ‘All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend (The Moth Tapes)’

AURORA has released All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend (The Moth Tapes), marking 10 years since her debut album introduced the Norwegian artist to an international audience. The collection features early recordings, demos and previously unheard material from the original album era, alongside the new “Let Me Heal You (demo)” and alternate versions of songs including “Running With The Wolves” and “Runaway.” The release is also available on a moth-inspired vinyl pressing.

Drawn from AURORA’s archive, The Moth Tapes revisits material created during the formative period surrounding All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend. Contributors to the recordings include Magnus Skylstad, Odd Martin, Michelle Leonard and Sacha Skarbek. AURORA said the newly released “Let Me Heal You” reflects an idea that has remained central to her relationship with music. “‘Let Me Heal You’ is a very important concept to me. I’ve always thought of music as medicine, and the whole album is about meeting your own demons before you can help someone else chase away theirs. Trying to help someone before you have managed to help yourself will drain you in a way that might deprive the world of a good human.”

The release also arrives amid renewed activity around “Runaway.” According to a press release, the song recently recorded its biggest streaming day since its viral breakthrough in 2021 and has now passed three billion combined streams. It is also charting on Shazam in markets including Nigeria, Vietnam, the Philippines, Norway, Indonesia and Thailand, while sitting inside the global Shazam top 100.

The Moth Tapes forms part of a year-long celebration of AURORA’s debut album and its surrounding creative world. Earlier in 2026, she released her third book to coincide with the album’s 10th anniversary.
