Elysia Biro Releases Debut Holiday EP ‘It’s Always Christmas With You’
The four-track set features Biro’s original title song alongside three familiar Christmas standards.
Elysia Biro has released her debut holiday EP, It’s Always Christmas With You, via Universal Music Canada and Deutsche Grammophon. The four-track collection arrived today and combines an original title song with three seasonal standards.

Biro wrote “It’s Always Christmas With You,” which appears alongside “The Christmas Song (Cheery & Bright),” “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”
Biro said the title song grew from the way her family sometimes adjusted holiday plans around work schedules and travel. “I’ve always treasured the holiday season for the coziness, festivities, and most of all, the family gatherings at our house. With several family members working in health care, we sometimes couldn’t spend the 25th together and would celebrate on another day. As an artist, I’m sometimes unsure where I will be during the holidays, meaning a similar question mark around the location (despite always hoping I can be home!). I wanted to write a song that captures the idea that no matter where you are or when you celebrate, it always feels like Christmas when you’re with someone you love.”
A classically trained pianist with roots in jazz, Biro released her debut EP, Running From Nothing, earlier in the year. Her music has since surpassed seven million global streams, while her live appearances have included the Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room, The Great Escape Festival, the Toronto International Jazz Festival and the Montréal International Jazz Festival.
