Hear EZ MIL Reunite With Eminem On ‘MADARA’
The single features Japanese rapper Hideyoshi and Neil Kaplan, who voices Madara Uchiha in ‘Naruto.’
EZ MIL has released “MADARA,” a new single featuring Eminem, Japanese rapper Hideyoshi, and voice actor Neil Kaplan. The track takes its name from Madara Uchiha, the Naruto character Kaplan voices in the anime’s English dub, and is available through Shady Records, Aftermath Records, and Interscope Records.

The collaboration draws on the Philippines-born, Las Vegas-based rapper’s longtime interest in Naruto, which he grew up watching. It also brings him together with Hideyoshi, whom EZ identifies as his favorite Japanese artist. Over a production built around piano, heavy bass kicks, and rapid hi-hats, EZ raps in English and joins Hideyoshi in Japanese on the hook. His verses incorporate anime references, while Kaplan contributes a verse in the voice associated with the song’s namesake.
“MADARA” extends EZ’s recording history with Eminem, which began with “Realest” in 2023. That single appeared on EZ’s DU4LI7Y: REDUX and debuted at No. 3 on Billboard’s Rap Digital Song Sales and R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales charts. EZ subsequently appeared on “Head Honcho” from Eminem’s The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), delivering verses in English and Tagalog. The two rappers began collaborating after EZ signed a joint deal with Shady, Aftermath, and Interscope in July 2023.
The new single follows July’s three-song 3RD WRLD VOL. 1 EP. Its lead track, “2200,” was mixed by Dr. Dre and named for the ZIP code of EZ’s hometown, Olongapo City. The EP also includes “SINDAK,” whose title translates to “INTIMIDATION,” pairing Tagalog lyrics with metalcore-influenced production, and “LORD HELP ME,” a prayer for strength. Together, the songs address his Filipino roots and the work behind his career.
The accompanying “2200 (Director’s Cut)” video moves between Olongapo, Japan, the United States, and footage of an arena performance in Manila. It includes appearances by skateboarder Eric Koston, Japanese rapper Awich, and Filipino R&B artist Dionela. Before the EP, EZ released the Tagalog-language single “Leon (Ka),” continuing the bilingual approach that also runs through his collaborations with Eminem.
