Howard Donald sings lead on the disco-infused track, premiered by Vernon Kay on BBC Radio 2.
Take That have released “Higher,” the fifth single from their upcoming album Dreamers, due November 20. The disco-infused song features Howard Donald on lead vocals and received its premiere on Vernon Kay’s BBC Radio 2 show on October 15. It offers another preview of the 12-track record, which draws on radio pop, folk, house, piano ballads, and orchestral arrangements.

The album brings together work with both longtime and new collaborators, with an emphasis on the group’s harmonies and musicianship. Opening track “Wonderkids” looks back at the band’s journey through tongue-in-cheek lyrics, with musical references to earlier Take That songs including “Patience” and “Back For Good.” At the other end of the record, closing song “Masterpiece” was written with Tom Odell and features multiple layers of piano. Those tracks frame a collection that moves between dance-oriented material and more restrained arrangements.
Dreamers follows a year in which the group revisited their history through a Netflix documentary and returned to the stage for their Circus tour. That run drew more than 700,000 fans across the UK and Ireland during the summer.
The group will take the album on the road next summer with the Dreamers Tour, comprising 31 shows in 31 cities across 16 countries. The itinerary includes festivals, outdoor performances, and European music venues. The tour begins in Switzerland on June 3, 2027, before traveling through Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Norway, Sweden, France, and the Netherlands. Further stops include Northern Ireland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Denmark, Spain, Italy, and Austria, with the final performance scheduled for Germany on July 23.
