Cigarettes @ Sunset Announce 2027 US Headline Tour
The run spans February through May, with stops in Atlanta, Brooklyn, Asheville and Nashville.
Cigarettes @ Sunset have announced a series of U.S. headline dates for 2027. The five-piece band will tour from February through May, with performances scheduled across the Midwest, South, East Coast and beyond.
The artist pre-sale begins Wednesday, October 28, at 10 a.m. local time through the band’s tour website. General tickets go on sale Friday, October 30, at 10 a.m. local time.
The announcement arrives as the group resumes its current U.S. headline tour this week, with shows in Lawrence, Kansas, and Stillwater, Oklahoma. The band is also set to join Dexter and The Moonrocks on an upcoming run that includes two-night stands at Emo’s Austin on November 19 and 20 and Webster Hall in New York City on December 5 and 6. Earlier this month, Cigarettes @ Sunset performed at Australia’s Strummingbird Festival.
The band formed in Boone, North Carolina. Its members are Garrett Dellinger on rhythm guitar and lead vocals, Wells Whitman on bass and backing vocals, Ethan Moore on drums, Sarah Vann on violin and vocals, and Ryland Bagbey on lead guitar. They describe their mix of Americana, indie rock and Appalachian folk, with punk influences, as “Appalachian possum rock.” After self-booking more than 100 shows in 2024, the group toured the U.S. with Dexter and The Moonrocks in 2025.
Cigarettes @ Sunset released the six-song EP Possum Rock through Lost Highway Records in March 2026. Their recent singles include “Carolina Shakedown,” “Gasoline” and “Appalachian Raised.” The band’s 2027 itinerary follows.
