Ariana Grande Dangerous Woman Diaries docuseries

Ariana Grande invites fans into her world with a new four-part docuseries titled Ariana Grande: Dangerous Woman Diaries that will air exclusively on her Youtube channel starting 29 November.

Dangerous Woman Diaries offers a behind-the-scenes look at the singer’s biggest career milestones, including footage from her Dangerous Woman tour, the ‘One Love Manchester’ show and the making of her No.1 album Sweetener.

The singer posted a trailer ahead of tomorrow’s first episode with new ones subsequently airing every Thursday, while Youtube Premium subscribers can watch the whole series starting tomorrow. Grande is the latest in a number of pop stars to host original content on Youtube, with the streaming giant also airing Katy Perry’s 48-hour Witness live stream last year and Demi Lovato’s documentary Simply Complicated.

While Grande’s personal life has been the source of much speculation, the doc will solely focus on her professional accomplishments and her creative journey. The series is directed by Alfredo Flores and produced by Good Story Entertainment. Flores shared more details about what fans can expect from the series, with each episode varying in length, ranging from 27 to 38 mins each.

“We wanted to bring you as closely into our world as possible,” she says in the teaser. The release of the series comes after her latest single ‘Thank U, Next’ was officially certified platinum.

The song was not only a hit with fans, but with Manchester pop-rock band The 1975, who lovingly covered the song with a full gospel choir on BBC’s Live Lounge.

Grande also released a teaser for the new music video for the single that references various cult romantic comedies including Legally Blonde, Mean Girls, 13 Going on 30 and Bring It On. The viral clip even includes members of the cast from these classic 2000s films. Another surprise cameo comes from Australian pop star and close collaborator Troye Sivan, who featured Grande on his hit single ‘Dance To This’.
