Jeff Goldblum Announces London Live Show
The Hollywood star and jazz pianist will appear at Cadogan Hall in West London on 17 November.
Jeff Goldblum has announced a live gig in London this November to support the release of his forthcoming debut album. He is set to appear at Cadogan Hall in West London on 17 November as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival, along with his band The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, who are named after a family friend.
As uDiscover Music previously reported, Goldblum and band are due to release their debut album on Decca Records later this year. Goldblum has played piano for most of his life and performed in bars around Pittsburgh when he was a teenager. He has also been performing with The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra since the 1990s.
He established a reputation for the instrument that saw him appear live with Gregory Porter on the Graham Norton show last year. Goldblum’s distinctive style and natural feel for the piano caught the attention of Decca Records executives, who immediately travelled to Los Angeles to meet with him.
“I’m so happy to be in cahoots with the wonderful people at Decca, one of the coolest and most prestigious labels of all time,” Goldblum said of his new record deal.

When he’s not working on location, Jeff Goldblum hosts a weekly jazz variety show at Los Angeles’ Rockwell Table and Stage, where he’s been playing for the last few years. Frequented by LA locals and A-listers alike, the show intersperses Goldblum’s love of jazz with his passion and skills at improvised comedy.
