The new album is described as being “fueled with lyrics of life moments from weddings and babies to celebrating their road-tested brotherhood as the three Nashville natives craft 11 songs exuding pure honesty over driving melodies”.
After fans endured a four-year wait between the Cadillac Three’s self-titled debut album and 2016’s Bury Me in My Boots, TC3 has kept up a brisk schedule, with Legacy following on the heels on their 2016 release, Bury Me In My Boots.
The Tennessee trio are also travelling the world this summer and bringing their high-octane shows to the international stage on their Black Roses Tour with dates that include the Download Festival in Paris, playing with Linkin Park on the 9th of June in France, then to the UK to play with Aerosmith on 11 June and a full tour of North American dates. Since starting out just over a decade ago, The Cadillac Three grew out of Nashville’s local indie rock scene to playing sold-out crowds across the UK where they have something of a second home.
Described by Rolling Stone as “Southern rockers in the tradition of Lynyrd Skynyrd – scuzzier than run-of-the-mill country bros”, The Cadillac Three have stood apart from their peers with top-notch songwriting skills thanks to frontman Jaren Johnston who’s penned hits for the likes of Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Jake Owen, Rascal Flatts and of course the TC3.
As Rare Country put it, “There is no doubt that The Cadillac Three have never been ones to play by the traditional rules of country music”.
The Cadillac Three’s Legacy is out on 25 August and available for pre-order here in the US and later on 9 June. Deluxe bundles also include signed vinyl, TC3 t-shirts and a TC3 flag. Explore our dedicated The Cadillac Three Artist Page.
