The upbeat power ballad showcases the boy band’s sweet harmonies, solo moments and tight rap flows.

The video features BTS members Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook in a dark, empty movie theatre, as they sing about being the light in someone’s life.

In addition to ‘Lights’, the group also released a Japanese version on their smash hit ‘Boy with Luv’ that featured American pop talent Halsey off their Billboard 200 chart-topping EP Map of the Soul: Persona as well as a Japanese version of ‘IDOL’ from their previous album Love Yourself: Answer.

Since releasing Map Of The Soul: Persona back in April, the EP debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and remained on the chart for 11 consecutive weeks.

“Within the noise, time stops/ We are connected by sound,” BTS sings in the inspirational anthem. “Let’s walk forward without fear, you and I.”

The visual is a continuation of the group’s previous music video for ‘Boy With Luv’ where they danced in front of an old art deco theatre, showing off their untouchable choreography.

BTS will continue their ‘Love Yourself: Speak Yourself’ world tour this Saturday in Osaka, Japan. The group also dropped the trailer for their highly-anticipated concert film Bring the Soul: The Movie that chronicles the European leg of their ‘Love Yourself’ tour. The film is set for release on 7 August, and if that wasn’t enough, the group released their own mobile video game titled BTS World that includes an original soundtrack.

It’s been a whirlwind year for the history-making K-pop outfit, as they became South Korean group to land a No.1 record in the UK, present at the Grammys and play Saturday Night Live, just to name a few.
