It’s not a maybe, Carly Rae Jepsen is bringing her ‘Dedicated’ tour to the UK and Europe in 2020.
Since releasing her fourth studio album Dedicated back in May, Jepsen has been touring with the album all summer in the US as well as the festival circuit. Now the Canadian pop star is headed across the pond, bringing her Dedicated tour to Manchester’s Albert Hall on 7 February and London’s Roundhouse the following day, followed by a wider European trek.
Jepsen will then be making stops in six countries across Europe, with the tour wrapping up on 21 February in Norway. Tickets for the Dedicated tour will go on sale on 6 December at 10 am, with the pre-sale going live on Wednesday, 4 December.
“So so jazzed to finally announce I’ll be crossing the pond for a very special tour I can’t wait to walk your cobblestone streets in February,” the singer shared on social media.
The singer-songwriter also recently made her Tiny Desk Concert debut on NPR last week, performing a medley of her hits including ‘Now That I Found You’, ‘Want You in My Room’ and ‘The Sound’.
Jepsen also revealed she’s been thinking about writing a stage show: “I’ve been talking about writing a pop musical,” she told Metro. “That’s a really fun dream. It was a friends meeting that turned into a business meeting. We were collaborating and performing, and our musical producer was ‘What do you do with the rest of your songs?’
“It’s maybe a five, ten-year plan, because it would take a lot of time to create. But, yeah, it’s always been something I’ve dreamed about doing.”
