The announcement sets the next full-length project from Gossett after several years of touring and recording, with the new material centered on the personal relationships he returned to between stretches on the road. “I’m grounding myself in this music,” he adds. Fittingly, “Loving You Like That” is a portrait of lasting love. It follows two other recent songs connected to Ramblin’: “My Boy,” which Gossett wrote to mark the birth of his first child, and “Honeysuckle,” another album single reflecting on home, love, and the people who keep him grounded.
The announcement arrives during a busy touring stretch for Gossett. After select North American stadium dates supporting Mumford & Sons, he is set to join The Red Clay Strays later this month, followed by a fall U.S. co-headlining run with Charles Wesley Godwin and a headline tour of Australia and New Zealand. Over the past three years, Gossett has reached nearly 1.5 billion career streams, while “Coal” has been certified 2x Platinum by the RIAA in the U.S. and Multi-Platinum internationally. He has also toured with George Strait, Zach Top, The Lumineers, Noah Kahan, Morgan Wallen, and HARDY, and appeared at Stagecoach and Austin City Limits Music Festival. Spotify and Amazon have both named him an Artist to Watch, and MusicRow included him on its Next Big Thing list.
