Elvis Costello & The Imposters have announced their ‘Just Trust’ UK tour which will take place early next year. The run of 13 shows will get under way at Liverpool’s Eventim Olympia on 28 February and conclude with a performance at Birmingham’s Symphony Hall on 18 March. Among the dates is a show in Sunderland, which will be Costello’s first appearance in the city in 40 years.
The ‘Just Trust’ tour follows the band’s recent North American jaunt with Blondie, with whom they co-headlined across the US.
Joining Costello will be his band The Imposters, who are comprised of keyboardist Steve Nieve, drummer Pete Thomas and bassist and vocalist Davey Faragher. They’ll be joined by singers Kitten Kuroi and Briana Lee who also appeared on the Look Now album in 2018.
Tickets will go on sale this coming Friday, 20 September, from 10am. Visit Elvis Costello’s official website for further information on all the forthcoming shows.
Grammy award-winner Elvis Costello has released 30 albums since his 1977 debut, My Aim Is True. His impressive list of accolades also includes his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and a place on Rolling Stone’s list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.
To top it all off, Costello was recently awarded the Lifetime Achievement Honour at the Americana Honours & Awards show for his work.
