Frampton Raw On TV
The film Peter Frampton Raw: An Acoustic Show will be aired by AXS TV on 29 January at 8pm US Eastern time. It was filmed during the British singer-songwriter-guitarist’s acoustic tour on 15 March, 2016 at the Sunset Centre in Carmel By The Sea in California.
The show will feature Frampton’s stripped-down versions of many of his best-loved songs, including ‘Show Me The Way,’ ‘Do You Feel Like We Do?’ and ‘Wind Of Change.’ It will also focus on the creative process that led to his fourth album as a solo artist, Frampton, which came out in 1975 and featured the original version of ‘Show Me The Way,’ ahead of its starring role and hit single status from the Frampton Comes Alive album phenomenon.
In the wake of last year’s release of his Acoustic Classics album, Frampton resumes the acoustic tour on 13 March in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, again performing with his son Julian and co-producer Gordon Kennedy. Dates continue until 12 April, and Frampton is also booked for the Mountain Jam in Hunter, NY on 18 June. In addition to the above-named favourites, the album also featured acoustic versions of other signature songs such as ‘Baby, I Love Your Way,’ ‘I’m In You’ and ‘All I Want To Be (Is By Your Side).’
