This Mother’s Day, families can look forward to a music-filled evening with artists like Halsey, Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera and Idina Menzel as they sing beloved Disney classics from home on The Disney Family Singalong: Volume II. The star-studded musical event will broadcast at 7:00 pm EST on Sunday 10 May on ABC.

The Disney Family Singalong: Volume II, which will also be available on Disney+ starting 12 May, follows the first instalment of the nationwide singalong in April, featuring the likes of Ariana Grande, Beyoncé, Josh Groban and the cast of High School Musical.

Highlights for Sunday’s broadcast will include Halsey performing ‘Part of Your World’ from The Little Mermaid, Katy Perry singing ‘Baby Mine’ from Dumbo, and  John Legend and Jennifer Hudson, duetting on the Beauty And The Beast theme.

Viewers can also expect appearances by The Muppets, Shakira, Seth Rogen and Donald Glover as well as Tituss Burgess, who will lead viewers and singers on a vocal warm-up. Also performing will be Chloe x Halle, Miguel, Keke Palmer and Rebel Wilson, among many others, while pros from Dancing With The Stars will team up for a remote ensemble routine.

The broadcast, hosted by Ryan Seacrest, will also raise awareness about Feeding America’s vast network of food banks and resources. Their work is especially crucial right now, as many people in the country are finding themselves in unfamiliar circumstances and facing hunger for the first time, amid the COVID-19 crisis.

In addition to her forthcoming appearance on Disney Family Singalong: Volume II, Halsey has been busy helping to raise funds for COVID-19 relief and keeping fans entertained while isolating at home. Most recently, she took part in the Jersey 4 Jersey benefit, joining Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen and Tony Bennett to support the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund.

Coming up, the Grammy-nominated artist will offer words of support to graduating seniors on the new podcast Commencement: Speeches for the Class of 2020. The limited series from iHeartMedia, which launches 15 May, will feature accomplished thought leaders from a variety of fields, including Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, two-time Olympic gold medalist and FIFA World Cup champion Abby Wambach and comedian and TV host Chelsea Handler.
