Good news for INXS fans and dance-music completists: the band has released INXS All Juiced Up Part 2, a career-spanning digital remix series that features remixes of songs such as “Need You Tonight,” “Listen Like Thieves,” “New Sensation,” and many more.

As the name suggests, All Juiced Up Part 2 is the follow-up to All Juiced Up, a limited edition remix CD/cassette that accompanied INXS’ 1994 multi-platinum-selling greatest hits album.

All audio has been remastered at Abbey Road, and the remixes will also be available on limited edition 12-inch records, all pressed on colored vinyl.

There will be nine records in total; the first volume of three 12-inch records was released in October of last year, followed by a further three in February 2024, with the final set appearing in May 2024.

INXS and their late manager Chris Murphy were 12-inch mix enthusiasts, releasing Dekadance, a collection of their mixes, in 1983. As INXS guitarist and founding member Tim Farriss shared, “INXS always embraced synthesizers, sequencers, and samplers in our music. Back in the early 80s, we often felt like pioneers of combining pub rock with funk, dance, and disco elements, so remixes or 12-inch versions were always something that we were and still are very passionate about. These mixes spoke of the ‘club culture’ and helped highlight the ‘dance’ influences in our music.”

Among these mixes, there are a number of standouts, including Morales’ remix of the band’s 1993 hit “I’m Only Looking.” The New York City-based producer has cooked up remixes for Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Spice Girls, Eric Clapton, Seal, Pet Shop Boys, U2, Donna Summer, Whitney Houston, Selena, Jamiroquai, and more.

Another highlight is the Liebrand 12” remix of “Need You Tonight.” Ben Liebrand is a Dutch dance music DJ and remixer. He has produced for artists such as Forrest and MC Miker G DJ Sven and remixed tracks by artists such as Alexander O’Neal, Salt-N-Pepa, Sting, and more. “Need You Tonight” was released by the band in 1987 and included on the band’s monumental album Kick.

The remix of “Not Enough Time” features Chicago house legend Ralphi Rosario, who was also a founding member of the influential Windy City DJ group Hot Mix 5.

Other cuts include a Dance Dub of “Original Sin,” a Cement Mixer version of “Underneath the Colours,” an Extended 12” Mix of “Freedom Deep,” and an E-Smoove Club Mix of “Please (You Got That…),” among others.
