Jimmy Eat World has announced tour dates for their North American Criminal Energy tour, featuring support from The Front Bottoms, Turnover and Joyce Manor.

The Front Bottoms will join all but one of the 20 shows, with Turnover opening for the first half of the tour and Joyce Manor opening for the latter half. Presented by Live Nation, the tour will kick off on 6 August in Atlanta, Georgia, making its way through the US and Canada to end in the band’s hometown of Phoenix, Arizona on 5 September.

Formed in 1993 and sticking to their core line-up since 1995, the band remains a consistent force in the emo-core scene, sticking to a solid cycle of new music and touring. Jimmy Eat World released their 10th studio album Surviving in October of last year, featuring hit tracks ‘Love Never’ and ‘All The Way (Stay)’.

In addition to the Criminal Energy tour, the group has already locked in dates opening for My Chemical Romance abroad as well as hitting the festival circuit with appearances at Chain Fest in Orange County, California and Bottlerock in Napa Valley, California.

The Front Bottoms are keeping busy as well, with a spring tour set to kick off on 17 April. The New Jersey-based duo recently released single ‘Camouflage’, their first track since their 2017 album GOING GREY. Making music since 2014, The Front Bottoms have steadily built up a solid foundation of music and a strong connection with their fans.

Jimmy Eat World notes in a press release, “Whether we’ve slept on your floor after the ‘97 basement show or you’ve just only recently heard about us, we will have something you’d be into catching live.”

Artist pre-sale starts on Tuesday, 10 March at 10:00 am local time, followed by general sale on Friday, 13 March at 10:00 am.
