After dropping teasers for the past few days, Jon Bon Jovi gave his fans an early holiday gift: a three-song EP of yuletide covers – aptly-titled A Jon Bon Jovi Christmas. The collection, available now across all streaming platforms, includes the Bon Jovi frontman’s renditions of Elvis Presley’s “If I Get Home on Christmas Day,” Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ “Christmas All Over Again,” and the Pogues’ “Fairytale of New York.”

Members of the Bon Jovi fan club can get exclusive access to extra merriment – including music videos for each song, outtakes, and other never-before-seen footage.

It’s been an eventful year for Bon Jovi. In October, the legendary rock group released their 15th studio album, Bon Jovi: 2020. Originally slated for a May street date, the title was pushed back, amid the pandemic. The extra time during quarantine gave the band a chance to address the years’ events, and add two timely new songs: “Do What You Can,” which chronicled fan-inspired stories about life in the era of COVID-19, and “American Reckoning,” written in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.

In September, Jon Bon Jovi reunited with country star Jennifer Nettles for a re-imagining of “Do What You Can.” The pair previously collaborated on a country version of Bon Jovi’s 2005 hit “Who Says You Can’t Go Home.” The song went to the top of the Country charts and snagged a Grammy Award for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals in 2007.

Last month, the band streamed a new concert special, On A Night Like This – Bon Jovi 2020. The full-length film featured the band’s first performance of their new album – captured in Nashville.

Over the weekend, the band also appeared on “PLAY ON: Celebrating the Power of Music to Make Change.” The benefit concert, which aired on CBS, supported the NAACP Legal Defense & Educational Fund and WhyHunger. Bon Jovi joined an all-star line-up of performers, including Snoop Dogg, Jon Batiste, Machine Gun Kelly, Maren Morris, Sheryl Crow, Ziggy Marley, and Andra Day, among others.
