“Run Rabbit,” released in May 2026, has amassed more than 95 million combined global streams. Elizabeth said the songs on People Pleaser reflect her tendency to find beauty and imagination amid difficult experiences. “I’ve always believed that even the most confusing and painful parts of life can still be beautiful and joyful and romantic in their own way,” she said. “I want my music to create that feeling for other people and give them a space where they can experience beauty and wonder in a way they might not find in their everyday lives.”

Released alongside the EP announcement, “Kiss The Ring” draws on the contrast between childhood fantasies and harsher realities. The track was produced by Joshua Murty, with score production by Kyle Daniel Gordon. It follows recent songs “Puppet Show” and “Petty Crimes,” all three of which will also appear on People Pleaser. Elizabeth has now created official videos for “Puppet Show,” “Petty Crimes,” and “Run Rabbit.”

Elizabeth grew up on an isolated mountain in Washington state’s Cascade Range, where she listened to artists including Rosemary Clooney, Doris Day, Connie Francis, The Zombies and The Kinks. She began writing and recording songs with a $12 microphone and pink ukulele. Following the EP’s release, she will begin her first headline tour November 3 at Joe’s Pub in New York City. The sold-out run also includes the Bob Baker Marionette Theater in Los Angeles on November 5 and Hoxton Hall in London on November 17.
